ஒழிகடை — The state of being almost exhausted–as stores, &c., almost ended, nearly over.

ஒழியிசை — A kind of ellipsis.
ஒழிய — Except, besides, unless, without. நீரொழியப்பாலுண்குருகிற்றெரிந்து. Discriminating as nicely as the swan which extracts milk from water. அவன்வந்தாலொழியப்போகேன். Unless he come I will not go.
ஒன்றொழியநானூறு — One less than four-hundred. அவனொழியவனைவரையுமழைத்தார்கள். They invited all but him.
வழங்காதொழிய — To grow into disuse, to become obsolete. உடம்பொழிய. The body failing– (பழமொழி.)
