A class of savages, supposed to form a part of the aborigines of Southern India. குறும் பர்சாதி. Those living in the forests and jungles were called காட்டுக்குறும்பு, and those in towns and strongholds நாட்டுக்குறும்பு
குறும்பர் — (pl. of குறும்பன், sing.) The people of the Kurumba class. 2. Petty chieftains of the Kurumba tribes, being often intruders upon the new settlers of Southern India, குறுநிலமன்னர். 3. Savages; the low and vile, கீழ்மக்கள். 4. (Rott.) A caste of shepherds who weave Indian blankets, குறும்பிடையர்.
குறும்பர்கோட்டம் — The Kot'as or strongholds of the Kurumbas.
குறும்பாடு — A short, woolly kind of sheep, ஓர்வகையாடு.
குறும்பாட்டஞ்செய்ய–குறும்பாட்டமாட — To be wicked.
குறும்புத்தனம் — Stubbornness, self-willedness, insolence, wickedness, mischief; the characteristics of the Kurumba people.
குறும்புவன்னியன் — One of the பன்னி tribe, ஓர்சாதியான்.
