கோத்திரங்கூற–கோத்திரஞ்செப்ப — To proclaim another's parentage–usually in disparagement.
கோத்திரஞ்சூத்திரஞ்சொல்ல — To assert one's ancestry and the Vedic verse of his family–as a brahman among strangers.
கோத்திரமின்மை — Being without parentage, lineage, &c.; one of the eight attributes of the deity. See ஏண்குணம், under குணம்.
