சாத்தாதவர் — Those who do not wear the sacred thread, or the tuft of hair. A mixed class of Vaishnuvas–opposed, to சாத்தினவர். They have their principal occupation, as flower-gatherers, minstrels or mendicants. (R.) Compare சாத்தானியன்.
சாத்திக்கழிக்க — To adorn the idol with flower or garlands, and afterwards remove them.
சாத்திக்கொள்ள — To dress one's self with garlands, costly attire, &c., in contempt.
