சன்னியாசந்தரிக்க — To assume the state and garb of the சன்னியாசி.
சன்னியாசமார்க்கம் — The order of சன்னியாசி. 2. The perpetual bachelorhood of a person of good morals.
சன்னியாசமுத்திரை — The distinctive marks of the சன்னியாசி, viz.: the staff, the waterpot, an unshaven beard, dishevelied locks, ochred clothes, &c.
சன்னியாசம்பண்ண — To renounce social or secular life for the wandering life of the ascetic. 2. To abandon earthly associations, worldliness, secularity, &c.
