பால்சாப்பிட — To take milk.
சாப்பாடு — Food, diet, victuals for the human species, போசனம். 2. A meal, ஒருவேளைப்போசனம். 3. Board, boarding, புறத்தியிற்சாப்பாடு. சாப்பாட்டுக்குப்பூச்சியம். Nothing to eat. சாப்பாட்டுராமன். A glutton, a gormandizer, (lit.) a gluttonous Rama. 2. A dull, stupid, inactive man, in contempt.
சாப்பாடுகொடுக்க–சாப்பாடுபோட — To give food, a meal or victuals. 2. To provide with food, to board.
சாப்பாடுசெய்ய — To give a pleasure-party to friends and acquaintances.
சாப்பாட்டுக்கழைக்க–சாப்பாட்டுக்குச் சொல்ல — To invite one to take food, as dinner, &c.
தடிக்கம்புச்சாப்பாடு — Switching, flogging with a switch, a ratan, &c. See under தடி.
