அடிகொள்ள — To begin, originate, be founded, தொடங்க.
அடிகோல — To lay a foundation for any building, அஸ்திவாரம்போட. 2. To take measures, undertake, make preparations, முயற்சிசெய்ய.
அடிக்கடி — Frequently, often repeatedly, reiteratedly, பலமுறை.
அடிக்குடி — Suburbs; ex குடி, village.
அடிக்குடில் — The suburb of a town, 2. A village of the Vedda people.
அடிக்குள்ளே — . Within a moment, in the same moment, before the next step is taken.

A blow, stroke, lash, stripe, a puff or blast or wind, அடிக்கும் அடி. (c.)
அடிபட–அடியுண்ண — To be beaten, அறையுண்ண. 2. To be proclaimed, published, made common, பகிரங்கப்பட. 3. To be consumed, expended, செலவாக. நாலாகாரியங்களிலுமடிப்பட்டவன். One versed in, or acquainted with many things.
அடிபிடி — A scuffle, fight, சண்டை.

அடிக்கொரு நினைவாயிருக்க — to change one's thoughts often, to be inconstant.

அடிமேலடி அடித்தால் அம்மியும் நகரும் — "" –Little strokes fell great oaks.

ஒருவனோடு அடித்துக்கொள்ள — to quarrel with one; to contend.
வீட்டையடித்துக்கொண்டு வந்தான் — he obtained the house by contention.
ஒருபேச்சு காதில் அடிபடுகிறது — there is a rumour.
காற்றடிக்கிறது — the wind blows.
நாற்றம் அடிக்கிறது — it stinks.
வாசனை யடிக்கிறது — it smells.
