ஈடழிய — To suffer the loss of power, dignity, wealth, &c., to become poor, பெருமைகுன்ற.
ஈடழிவு — Loss of power, property, dignity, &c., சீர்கேடு.
ஈடன் — A strong, competent, wealthy man, பெருமையுடையோன். ஈடன்பாடஞ்சான். A wealthy man will not fear losses.
ஈடாட — To compete with another, நேர்நிற்க. 2. [prov.] To be loose–as a tooth, a nail, the spokes of a wheel, to joggle, உழல.
ஈடாட்டம் — Competing or matching with another. 2. Pecuniary ability, the free use of money–as by a rich merchant, கொடுக்கல்வாங்கல். 3. Being loose–as a nail, &c., உழலுகை.
ஈடுகட்ட–ஈடுபண்ண — To give security, பிணைகொடுக்க. 2. To make amends, restitution, reprisals, &c., to identify, ஈடுசெய்ய.
