An animal in general–as குரங்கம், குராகம். குரங்கின்கைப்பூமாலை. A flower-garland in the hands of a monkey; i. e. a thing of value with one who knows not its use. குரங்குக்குந்தன்குட்டிபொன்குட்டி. Even to a monkey her young is as gold; i. e. one thinks highly of his own. குரங்குதன்குட்டியின்கையைக்கொண்டுபதம்பார்க்கிறது போலப்பார்க்கிறான். He tests it by another, as a monkey does a new object by the hand of her young
குரங்குமனம் — A monkey-mind, retaining its grasp, notions, &c., without inquiry, or discrimination.
குரக்குமுகம்–குரங்குமுகம்–குரங்கு மூஞ்சி — A monkey face.
குரக்குவலி–கொறுக்குவலி — A kind of disease with which monkeys are commonly said to be affected.
குரங்காட்டம் — Apishness; apish tricks, antics, &c. 2. v. noun. Harassing, annoying, treating one as a mere monkey.
குரங்காட்டமாட–குரங்காட்டங்கொள்ள–குரங்காட்டம்பண்ண — To annoy, to treat one as a monkey.
குரங்குகடியன் — A cocoanut, injured at the top, as if by a monkey, squirrel, &c., பழுதுற்றதேங்காய்.
