சரீரம் (carīram) — noun
The living human body, the tenement of the soul, மனிதருடல். (c.)
Body in general of men or brutes, மிருகாதி களினுடல். W. p. 832. SAREERA. (not com. in Tamil.)
சரீரகுணம் — Temperament, disposition or state of body. 2. The disposition of the body with regard to the different effects of food, &c., on different persons.
சரீரக்கட்டு — Compactness of body. See கட்டு.
சரீரக்கூறு — See under கூறு. 2. Any state of the body, as corpulent, thin, &c., thus. 1. வாதசரீரம், a constitution in which flatulent humors prevail, causing bloatedness, &c. 2. பித்தசரீரம், in which the bilious humors preponderate, causing thinness, emaciation, fretfulness, heat, &c. 3. சிலேட்டுமசரீரம், in which phlegmatic humors prevail, causing pulmonary diseases, dryness, &c.
