கசகர்ணம் — a task involving stupendous effort; (lit. elephant's ear, term used to denote the art of moving or waving one's ears in the manner of an elephant).
கசகர்ணம் போட்டாலும் காரியம் ஆகாது — the business cannot be done (the object cannot be realized) even if unusual effort be put forth.
கசகர்ப்பம் — long period of gestation, as of an elephant which is 18 months for a she-calf and 22 months for a he-calf; 2. a tediously long period of endeavour to realize an object.
கசபுடம் — a fire made with one thousand cow-dung cakes for calcinating medicine.
