பற்றற — To be broken off as affection, friendship, attachment, earthly ties. 2. To be extirpated, exhausted, to be extinct; used also as an adverb. பற்றுக்கொண்டுபோய்விட்டான். He has taken all away.
பற்றாக்கை — [also பற்றார்க்கை.] A cord or string to tie a bunch of arrows, அம்புகட்டுங்கயிறு. 2. A cord in general for tying, கட்டுங்கயிறு. (சது.)
பற்றிலி — One free from sensual attachments–as the Deity, or an advanced devotee.
பற்றுக்கால் — Supporter of a lever, or swing.
பற்றுக்குறடு — A pair of tongs; sometimes பற்றுகுறடு.
பற்றுக்கொள்ள — To be attached, as the mind to earthly things.

பற்றவைக்க — [prov. பற்றச்சுட.] To solder, To weld 2. To kindle a fire. 3. [fig.] To make enemies, to sow discord. அவனிடத்திலே பற்றவைத்துவிட்டான். . . . . . . He referred the matter to another.
பற்றற்றார்–பற்றற்றோர் — Rishis, Munis who have relinquished. earthly attachments.
பற்றாக்குறை — Any thing which is very inadequate.
பற்றி — Of, about, concerning, respecting. adverting to, referring to. 2. By, by means of, guided by, taking hold of, tracing by scent. அதைப்பற்றிஏனக்குச்சொன்னான். He told me about it. அவனைப்பற்றிஏனக்குக்காரியமில்லை. I have nothing to do with him. உன்னைப்பற்றி. For your sake. 2. About you. நீ ஏன் அதைப்பற்றிக்கவலைப்படுகிறாய். Why do you care for it?
